Winner analysis:

Using the six sig stats I have a shortlist of Auguste Rodin (6/4), Royal Scotsman (8/1), Sakheer (8/1), Silver Knott (12/1), Noble Style (20/1), and Dubai Mile (33/1). Happy to dismiss Noble Style based on the fact I don't think he will stay. I did back AR ante post a few weeks back at 9/2 so no need to back again. RS interests me EW as does DM, although if I do back DM I'll be looking for enhanced places as I can see him staying on past tired horses. Sakheer is the horse I can't decide on, as I'm not sure he will stay either and looked a sprinter last year, but I will look at his races again. I'm not convinced SK will be up to winning this win so happy to leave him alone as well.

Gaelic Warrior (4/1) has been well backed over the last 24 hours due to Rich Ricci’s comments however I would be genuinely concerned about his tendency to jump right, even more so on the old course which is used for the first two days. Il Etait Temps (9/2) has the best EW profile along with Facile Vega (12/1), however the latter looks unlikely to run in this race at present, if he did though I will be backing EW.
