Winner analysis:

Bolshoi Ballet (5/4) and Mac Swiney (15/2) meet both significant stats. Indeed, both have great stats profiles for the race and look strong contenders. BB has won his two races this season pretty easily and it’s interesting that O’Brien is happy to rely solely on him. MS won the Irish Guineas LTO and is bred to go further than the mile so the step up in trip should suit, my only concern is the going as his best form has all been with cut in the ground. Away from the significant stats, Hurricane Lane (9/1) has a very good profile and looks a live contender for Godolphin.
