Welcome to this year’s Aintree Festival significant horse racing stats. Just like the Cheltenham stats, the main focus will be on the significant stats to help narrow down the field.

Win Stats:

Age: 6-8 = 92%

Bred: IRE, FR = 92%

Runs: 4-6 = 92%

Cheltenham run: Yes = 83%

Days: 20+ = 100%

Cheltenham Race: Avoid handicap runners = 100%

OR: S.D = 147+ Mean = 151+

Season RPR: S.D = 150+ Mean = 158+

Crosstab Age/Bred: 5-6 FR 6-8 IRE

Significant Stats:

No significant stats

Winner analysis:

A trappy affair and a weak grade 1 on paper in my view. The horse with the best general profile is Pic D’Orhy (5/2) and Nicholls ducked Cheltenham with most of his horses with the aim being Aintree. I like the look of Erne Rivers’ (9/2) form and I’m tempted to play EW with Skybets enhanced place offer.
