EW Analysis:

I am really looking forward to this race as there could be some special horses moving forward. In terms of the EW stats and away from the front two, The Yellow Clay (6/1) has a good-looking profile and is unbeaten over hurdles.

Significant Stats:

RPR 146+

Bred IRE or FR

Positive correlation between position, Bred IRE/FR and RPR (153+)

Winner analysis:

Season RPR is the first number I go look at when trying to narrow down the field of this race, as it has always been a key sig stat. Minimum I am looking for is 146 which The New Lion (15/8), Final Demand (15/8), The Yellow Clay, and Potters Charm (14/1) have hit this season. Ideally, I then want an IRE or FR bred horse which is a slight negative against The New Lion, however I would not let that totally put you off. If we then consider, the correlation RPR of 153 that leaves Final Demand. Definitely worth just focussing on those at the top of the market.
